2010
Establishment of Swiss Capital
Established as a microfinance organization regulated by the National Bank of Georgia.
2018
International Credit Ratings and Corporate Bonds
Acquisition of Fitch (2018-19) and Scope (2020-21) ratings & first successful issue of GEL 10 million corporate bonds (2018).
2019
Launch of MSES Business Loan
Recruitment of specialized MSES experts and introduction of credit product for small and medium businesses.
2019
Launch of Gold Pawnshop
Successful entry into the Gold Secured Loan market by a large portfolio acquisition. Swiss Capital becomes a leading player with significant geographic coverage and competitive loan terms.
2020
Launch of Non lending Products
Expansion of services: launch of currency exchange and money transfer solutions.
2021
Launch of Agro Loan - Pilot project
Expansion into agricultural sector: opening regional branches and launching agro loans with special terms and benefits.

Promoting Financial Literacy
Swiss Capital has teamed up with Finedu, the financial education portal of the National Bank of Georgia, to promote financial literacy within Georgian society. This collaboration focuses on a range of projects aimed at improving financial knowledge and empowering individuals to make informed financial decisions.

Start of Digital Transformation
In 2022, Swiss Capital introduced its first web portal, my.swisscapital.ge, followed by the launch of the SCAPP mobile application. These innovative platforms offer customers a convenient client cabinet, allowing them to verify their identity remotely without visiting a physical branch. Through these services, clients can also receive approval for desired funds, streamlining the process and improving overall accessibility.
2023
Receiving Funds from EMF Microfinance Fund AGMVK
For the first time in the company's history, Swiss Capital secured financing from an international fund that specializes in providing funds to banks and microfinance organizations (MFOs) globally. Notably, the loan is entirely uncollateralized, marking a significant milestone for the company. This achievement opens new avenues for diversifying the funding sources of JSC Swiss Capital, strengthening its financial position and expanding its growth opportunities.
2023
Launch of 100% remote Digital Auto Loan
Swiss Capital pioneers the introduction of the Car Secured Loan for loyal customers, the first in the microfinance sector. This innovative service allows customers to access their credit limit without visiting a branch. The entire loan process, from car inspection to signing the loan agreement, is conducted online through the SCAPP mobile app, providing a seamless and convenient experience for users.
