Internal Auditor

JSC Microfinance Organization SCAPP announces a vacancy for the Internal Auditor (Mid-Level) position in Tbilisi.

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct risk-based audits according to the approved internal audit plan
• Perform loan file sampling and re-performance testing
• Review AML/KYC and onboarding compliance processes
• Evaluate IT access rights and data integrity controls
• Assess segregation of duties and operational controls
• Review financial reconciliations and portfolio quality indicators
• Prepare clear audit reports with findings and recommendations
• Monitor remediation actions and follow up on audit findings
• Participate in fraud investigations when required

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in:
  • Internal audit, OR
  • External audit (financial services preferred), OR
  • Risk / compliance functions within a financial institution
• Experience reviewing:
  • Loan files
  • Financial controls
  • AML/KYC processes
  • Internal control testing
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• Fluent English (written and spoken)

Working Conditions

• Full-time position
• Monday – Friday: 10:00 – 18:30
• Compensation based on qualifications and experience
