120 Trainings Delivered and New Opportunities for the Regions - The RDYE Project Advances to the Next Phase

October 15, 2026

Within the framework of the ongoing "Youth Entrepreneurship for Rural Development" (RDYE II) project, supported with financial backing from MFO SCAPP, 120 planned training sessions were successfully conducted across 21 municipalities in 4 regions of Georgia.

The educational phase brought together hundreds of local youth, helping them take a significant step toward developing their entrepreneurial ideas. The workshops clearly demonstrated the immense energy and motivation driving these young individuals united around positive change and regional development.

The project is now transitioning to its most crucial and practical phase:

Idea Transformation: Participants will complete an intensive 7-day Business Entrepreneurship Training (BET), where, with the support of professionals, they will transform their initial concepts into viable business plans.

Funding & Awards: In the final phase, at least 65 winning young entrepreneurs will be selected to receive financial grants of up to 30,000 GEL to launch or expand their businesses.

For MFO SCAPP, it is a privilege to be part of this process. In partnership with Mercy Corps Georgia and other Georgian companies, we continue to support initiatives that stimulate economic activity in the regions, create new opportunities, and empower youth to realize their potential.
